I like DSI Prophet brass sound very much and found the REV 2 is very EWI friendly. Although my OB-06 is a great sounding polysynth, I am a bit disappointed that it is not esay to set it responsive to breath (midi cc #2). But REV2 can set breath ( midi cc #2) to control multiple modulations and parameters such as filter cutoff, noise level, filter resonance, LFO frequency, LFO amount, LP filter envelope amount, Amp envelope amount, etc.
I am very happy with OB-6 and REV 2 combination.
How to set up DSI Prophet REV 2 for EWI performance
1) Set EWI to send midi cc#2 to REV 2 ( No need for Aftertouch unless you set it up for different modulations)
2) Set Controllers on REV 2 to Breath, set Filter Cutoff as target, set amount as Max 127
3) Go to Modulators, set Breath to different targets such as noise level, filter resonance, LFO frequency, LFO amount, LP filter envelope amount, Amp envelope amount, etc with desired amount.
